For 800 years after its founding in the 7th century the Islamic religion spread through conquest and subjugation, and over the past 40 years there has been a revival of Islamic expansion and influence in the world through mass immigration and terrorism. What is the magnitude of this threat, and what do Christians need to know about Islam in order to better understand the historical origins of the Jihadist agenda and what we can do to serve as a source of Light and Truth in the midst of a world that has become increasingly violent and chaotic?

Iraj Ghanouni is a recognized expert on Islam who was a practicing Muslim for the first 30 years of his life. Not long after arriving in the U.S. in 1978, he experienced a conversion from Islam to faith in Jesus Christ, and for the past 25 years he has devoted his life to studying and teaching the history and religion of Islam.

Iraj often lectures and teaches on Islam in churches and other venues around the U.S. and the world, and since 1990 he has helped plant churches for Muslim converts in Atlanta and Chicago. He has also served as a missionary in India, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Mexico, Kenya, Greece, Germany, and other countries.
