The Aréopagus House

The Aréopagus House is located at 3095 Johnson Ferry Road, near the intersection of Johnson Ferry Rd. and Shallowford Rd.

From Roswell
Take Hwy. 9/19 and turn west on Pine Grove Rd. (just north of the Roswell historic district.) Pine Grove merges into Shallowford Rd.
Follow Pine Grove / Shallowford Rd.
Turn left at the intersection of Shallowford and Johnson Ferry Rd.
The Areopagus House is the second house on the right.

From Sandy Springs
From the intersection of Roswell Rd. and Johnson Ferry Rd.:
Follow Johnson Ferry Rd. 8.5 miles.
The Areopagus House is on the left-hand side - directly across from a Chevron station.

From North Atlanta, Buckhead, and the Lenox Area
Take Roswell Rd. north, and cross over I-285.
Go about .8 mile past I-285 and turn left (West) onto Johnson Ferry Rd.
Follow Johnson Ferry Rd. 8.5 miles.
The Areopagus House is on the left-hand side - directly across from a Chevron station.

From Downtown Atlanta
I-75 North to Exit 261 -- the Delk Road / Lockheed / Dobbins AFB exit.
Turn right (East) on Delk Road and continue 6 miles.
(NOTE: Delk Rd. merges into Terrell Mill Rd. and then into Lower Roswell Rd.)
Turn left on Johnson Ferry Rd. and go 4.9 miles.
The Areopagus House is on the left-hand side - directly across from a Chevron station.

From Decatur
Take the Top-End Perimeter (I-285 West) to the Roswell Rd. / Sandy Springs exit.
Take Roswell Rd. north about .8 mile and turn left (West) onto Johnson Ferry Rd.
Follow Johnson Ferry Rd. 8.5 miles.
The Areopagus House is on the left-hand side - directly across from a Chevron station.

From Marietta
From the Marietta Square, take Cherokee St. north and merge with Church St. at Wellstar Hospital.
Continue north on Church St., pass over 1-75, and continue another 1.2 miles.
Turn right on Sandy Plains Rd. and go 5.1 miles.
Turn right on Shallowford Rd and go 2.4 miles.
Turn right on Johnson Ferry Rd. (there is a BP station at the intersection).
The Areopagus House is the second house on the right.

From Kennesaw, Acworth, Town Center Mall
Take I-75 South or I-575 South to Exit 267A -- the Canton Hwy. (Hwy. 5) North exit.
Go north on the Canton Hwy. Connector about 1.2 miles.
Turn right on Sandy Plains Rd. and go 5.1 miles.
Turn right on Shallowford Rd and go 2.4 miles.
Turn right on Johnson Ferry Rd. (there is a BP station at the intersection).
The Areopagus House is the second house on the right.

From Smyrna
Option 1 (Cumberland Mall area): Take I-285 North to I-75 North.
Follow the directions from Downtown Atlanta above.
Option 2 (Austell Rd. area): Follow Hwy. 5 (Atlanta Road) into the Marietta Square and follow the directions from the Marietta Square above.

Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church is located at 4385 Lower Roswell Rd. in East Cobb County, 1/2 mile west of the intersection of Lower Roswell Rd. and Johnson Ferry Rd.

 From I-75: Take Exit 261 (Lockheed / Dobbins exit). Go east on Delk Road 5.5 miles. The church is on the left. [NOTE: Delk Rd. merges into Terrell Mill Rd. and then Lower Roswell Rd.]  

Mt. Bethel UMC Older Adult Center

The Mount Bethel UMC Older Adult Center is located 1/4 mile east of the main Mt. Bethel UMC campus on Lower Roswell Rd., approximately 1/4 mile west of the intersection of Lower Roswell and Johnson Ferry Rd.

Coming from the North:
Take GA 400 south to Haynes Bridge Road. Exit to the left (east) at the top of the ramp. Continue past North Point Mall until you come to a light at the intersection of Haynes Bridge Road and Old Alabama (There will be a BP Station on your left, a Kroger shopping center on your right, and a subdivision directly in front of you). Make a right onto Old Alabama, the sanctuary is on the right, just past Kroger.

Coming from the South:
Take Highway 400 North to Mansell Road Exit. Turn right on Mansell Road. Turn right on Old Alabama Connector, turn left on Old Alabama. At the intersection of Old Alabama and Nesbit Ferry turn left and the sanctuary is on the left.

Coming from the East:
Take Old Alabama Road west off Medlock Bridge (Hwy. 141). Stay on Old Alabama Road past the Kroger shopping center. The sanctuary is on your right, immediately past Kroger.

Coming from the West:
Take Holcomb Bridge Road east. Cross GA 400. Turn left onto Old Alabama Road (a Waffle House is on the left on Holcomb Bridge just before the turn.) Stay on Old Alabama Road to the Intersection of Old Alabama and Nesbit Ferry Roads. Turn left and the sanctuary is immediately on the left.
