Course Description:
Christian apologetics is essential to effective evangelism and discipleship.  Apologetics is also practical, but oftentimes it is presented in such an obscure and esoteric way as to cloud its practical application to real-life situations.
By contrast, Frontline Apologetics is a practical course in applied apologetics.  Many Christians desire to share their convictions with others but are hesitant and uncertain regarding how to effectively explain and defend their faith both to non-Christians as well as to Christians who are struggling with their faith due to personal and spiritual issues or to challenging intellectual, moral and cultural influences.
Based on the book by Jefrey D. Breshears, The Case for Christian Apologetics (available on Amazon.com) and augmented by a series of engaging Socratic dialogues that focus on arguments and questions that people commonly have regarding the Christian faith, this course is valuable for all Christians regardless of how experienced and familiar they are in evangelism and apologetics.
This is a very valuable course.  As followers of Christ we should be prepared not only to clearly explain but also effectively defend the unique truth-claims of the historic Christian faith to non-Christians who are sincere truth-seekers as well as to Christians who are honestly struggling in their faith.
